Reconciliation

What to do when things go amiss? How to reconcile so that a sense of safety is restored?

It seems that when we know that we have acted out of being triggered, mistaken our friend for a lion, it is good to acknowledge that we realize that we were triggered and were acting out of that. We need to avoid guilt, blame and judgment in these matters, but rather reconcile in a way that moves us forward for healing.
