In the dictionaries, a community is:

"a unified body of individuals ... people with common interests living in a particular area ... a group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society ... a body of persons of common interests scattered through a larger society"

This web site is for all of these types of communities - groups of people involved in giving, receiving and facilitating the type of healing referred to here. They may live together, go to meditation together, or just talk over the phone. Even when a weekend workshop takes place, a community is formed. Unfortunately, afterwards, it often disbands. This can be a place to reconnect, creating a cyber-community, and to discuss healing.
